HubSpot integration

Briefs inside HubSpot, right where you work

Quotd reads your HubSpot data to build better briefs, then pushes briefs back as sidebar cards and timeline notes. Two-way, fully automatic.

Connecting HubSpot

1

Open Settings

Click Settings in the left sidebar, then select the Integrations tab along the top.

2

Authorize HubSpot

Click the HubSpot card and authorize Quotd to access your portal. Quotd needs read access to deals, contacts, companies, and notes, plus write access to create timeline notes and sidebar cards. The OAuth flow requests only the scopes it needs.

3

Briefs start flowing

Once connected, Quotd immediately pulls your deal and contact data to enrich future briefs. Every brief and debrief from this point forward gets pushed back to HubSpot automatically.

What Quotd reads from HubSpot

  • Deals — Pipeline stage, deal amount, close date, deal owner, and custom properties.
  • Contacts — Name, title, email, company association, and activity history.
  • Notes — Existing notes on the deal and contact records, including notes from other tools.
  • Companies — Industry, size, website, and any enriched data on the company record.

What Quotd writes to HubSpot

Sidebar Card

When you open a deal record in HubSpot, you will see a Quotd card in the right sidebar. It shows the most recent brief or debrief for that deal: the one thing, key context, and unresolved items. Your reps and managers can see the latest brief without leaving HubSpot.

Timeline Notes

Every pre-call brief and post-call debrief gets logged as a timeline note on the contact and deal record. This creates a permanent audit trail. Months from now, anyone on the team can scroll through the timeline and see exactly what Quotd briefed before each call and what happened during it.

Triple delivery

When both Slack and HubSpot are connected, every brief and debrief is delivered to three places at once:

  1. Slack DM to the rep
  2. HubSpot sidebar card on the deal
  3. HubSpot timeline note on the contact

Your reps can read the brief in whichever tool they happen to have open. Your managers can review briefs in HubSpot. The timeline note means the context is permanently logged even if the rep leaves the company.
